Vor allem die Geschwindigkeitsfreaks, denen es auf dem Wasser nicht schnell genug sein kann, waren von den Foil-Cats sichtlich sehr angetan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dank der Firma SAIL INNOVATION k\u00f6nnten Foil-Cats bald auch auf heimischen Gew\u00e4ssern zu bestaunen sein. P\u00fcnktlich zum Ende des America&#8217;s Cup bringt das Team von SAIL INNOVATION den ersten Catamaran mit Tragfl\u00e4chen auf den Markt. Der 25.000 Euro teure Flying Phantom soll bis zu 30 Knoten schaffen und eine neue Einheitsklasse bilden.<!--more Weiterlesen...--><\/p>\n<p>Der Mast ist 9,5 Meter lang und das Gesamtgewicht betr\u00e4gt 155 kg. Die Segelfl\u00e4che ist unter normaler Takelung 23qm, 18 qm Gro\u00dfsegel mit Karbon-Fl\u00fcgelmast und 5 qm Fock. Der Gennaker hat eine Fl\u00e4che von 24 qm. Mit 18 Fu\u00df L\u00e4nge, ist das Boot so lang wie ein Formel 18 Kat,<b> <\/b>allerdings mit drei Metern deutlich breiter. Die H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit soll bei ca. 30 Knoten liegen.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5doBIv3TVbA\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Das Boot ist als Strand-Cat konzipiert und soll vor allem auch Hobbysegler ansprechen. Entworfen hat das Boot der deutsche Tragfl\u00e4chen Spezialist Martin Fischer. Er war unter anderem auch f\u00fcr die Entwicklung der C-Klasse Catamaran Groupama verantwortlich, der zuletzt den Little America&#8217;s Cup gewonne hat. An der Entwicklung des Phantoms soll das das gesamte Designteam beteiligt gewesen sein.<\/p>\n<p>Getestet wurde das neue Boot unter anderem von Little America&#8217;s Cup-Gewinner Franck Cammas, dem franz\u00f6sischen F18 Meister Gurvan Bontemps und Vend\u00e9e Globe Sieger Fran\u00e7ois Gabart.
